Scene Style

The style is very simple to achieve believe it or not. If you go by clothing what you should have is converse, skinny jeans, and shirts with funny sayings.

Skinny jeans can be bought pretty much anywhere. The best brand is Tripp. They have interesting designs that look awesome and sometimes make you look taller.

Besides from clothing you should also know how to figure out what jewelry looks well.  a diomand necklace or brass knuckles one should do the trick.

Same Home (Short Story)

The dark storm clouds begin to take over the sky.  The wind screams angrily as it ran through the streets. Rain pours from the angry monster of the sky. It’s been a long time. I close my eyes and take a deep breath; I had to forget the past.  All the houses in this neighborhood seemed to haunt me. My vision seals on one stop. My eyes stare at the chipping white paint of the home. Windows are broken and it looks as if no one has been here for years.  That’s most likely because no one has. 

I walk into the house and fear sinks into me. Why did i come here? There’s no reason for me to even set a foot in this home. Rain drips from my clothes and hair.  The house is unbearably cold. I can sense the ghosts that still live here.  The spirits who must always live here.  I begin walking through the darkened hallways. The Floors creak with each step i take.  I crane my neck and look into what was once the kitchen.  A hole lives in the wall surrounded my dried blood. A gun shot that stole the life of one of the houses residents. 

I take a deep breath as i get to the end of my walk. I place my pale shaky hand onto the cool brass doorknob of the room at the end of the hall. The door screams angrily as I pull the wooden object open.  Inside the walls are dark pink.  The room looks charred.  Of course it does, a small fire once lived here, stealing away the life of a fifteen year old girl. I walk to the center of the room.  The door slams shut as if it was angry at me.  I feel a cold hand grasp my throat. I gasp for the oxygen i cannot reach. 

“How dare you come back here after what you did?”

An angry teen’s ghostly voice screamed at me.  My head starts to pound and my vision changes and blurs. Slowly my life fades away from me. I die in my old bedroom, the bedroom that is in the same house that I killed my family in.

                

Uglies Synopsis

There are many Exiting conflicts in the book Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. The first conflict is when Tally Youngblood sneaks over into New Pretty Town to see her best friend Peris. But because she is an Ugly she is not allowed in New Pretty Town. In this book everyone is considered an Ugly until there sixteenth birthday when they get the Pretty operation. When you think of ugly now it’s allot different then, in the Pretty Time anyone normal is considered Ugly. So anyway, Tally ended up not only crossing the river that borders Uglyville and New Pretty Town, but she went out into the center of town, and crashed a party, of course in disguise (sure the disguise was a pig mask but it was better to be caught in that then her normal "ugly" face. She obviously didn't plan this well because she ended up in a situation that little did she know changed her life forever. She was in an elevator in Garbo Mansion and couldn't get it to work; she realized it was because she didn't have her interface ring, without she was basically a nobody Peris found her in the elevator and made sure she escaped unnoticed. She promised Peris that she wouldn't get caught. The only way she could escape, was bungee jacketing off the mansion. She did so setting off the fire alarm. After escaping, she met Shay. Shay ended up being her best friend, and they shared the same birthday. This meant they would both get the Pretty operation on the same day! That is, until Shay decided to run away to the Smoke (a place where no one got the operation, some Uglies ran away to here). Shay wants Tally to come to, Tally wanted to get the operation and become pretty, so she decided to stay behind. Everything was all set for Tally Youngblood to get the operation, until she was brought to Special Circumstances. There she met Dr. Cable the leader of SC. She left Tally with the worst decision to make: Find Shay and turn her in, or never become a Pretty. The choice she makes changes her life forever.
